Fox Lake began transitioning to a smoke-free community in 2020.
What does that mean?
No smoking in your apartment, or on your deck or patio.
No smoking within 15 feet of any building or community amenity.
No smoking or vaping at or within 15 feet of community amenities, including the pools, hot tub, outdoor fireplaces, playground or dog park.
We welcome those who do smoke to move to or continue living at Fox Lake, so long as they abide by the new smoking rules.
You may use e-cigarettes in your own apartment.
This change will be enforced as current leases expire and as new residents move in.
The rule is effective for all new residents who apply for an apartment after March 4, 2020 .
This rule change is for the health and safety of all residents.
ATTENTION: Because this is a new policy that will be enforced as leases expire, we cannot guarantee that your neighbors are smoke-free or that a previous resident did not smoke in your apartment. We make every effort to remove the smoke smell from an apartment before a new resident moves in. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we implement this new rule.
